Mission Statement
The parish community of Christ the King believes its mission is to first live and then proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ. We are committed to the nurturing of our spiritual life through the sacraments, prayer, scripture, and the practice of the principles of Biblical Stewardship as our way of life.
We invite you to be one of us in our Pilgrim Walk. We cannot expect to achieve perfection overnight. However, if we are willing and accept the challenges of this mission and way of life, we will not be disappointed. The grace of God is with us.

Wednesday, November 25
God has blessed our parish and parishioners with many graces and gifts. What better way to celebrate His gracious care of us than to gather in prayer and praise at our Wednesday evening Vigil Mass for Thanksgiving. Eucharistic Adoration will end at 6:00 p.m. There will be no Novena or Confessions.

IT’S TIME FOR CHILDREN’S CHOIR!
It's that time of year again! The Christ the King Children's Christmas Choir will begin rehearsing on December 2 for their annual Christmas Concert. Children ages 6 to 12 are welcome to join. The Children's Christmas Choir will perform on Christmas Eve, December 24 before the 4:00 p.m. mass.
Rehearsals will be held every Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. in the Church beginning the week after Thanksgiving. Parents must attend the first rehearsal on December 2 to register their child and collect materials.
Paul Quintero will be directing the choir again this year and looks forward to meeting all the children and parents at our first rehearsal. See you there! |

NEW COMMUNION PROCEDURES 
The pre-Communion "Sign of Peace", Communion from the Cup and the reception of Communion on the tongue is suspended until further notice due to the H1N1 virus.
SACRAMENT OF THE SICK
The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick can promote spiritual and physical healing and, therefore, should not be “saved for the last moment of life.” The Anointing of the Sick is given to Catholics who are seriously ill in mind or in body; to those undergoing surgery; those suffering from chronic illnesses or the burden of years. The Sacrament may be repeated after a few months. If you need anointing, the Sacrament is celebrated at daily Mass on Mondays at 8:30 a.m. and Fridays at 12:10 p.m.
